About the Role

Talentrio is seeking skilled and certified 3G SMAW+FCAW Welders to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, offering a competitive salary range of 2-4 LPA.

Job Overview

As a 3G SMAW+FCAW Welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) techniques. Your expertise will contribute to the fabrication and maintenance of critical infrastructure in the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 3G SMAW and FCAW welding on various metals, including carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, diagrams, and welding specifications.
• Ensure welds meet industry standards and client requirements.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify weld integrity (e.g., visual, ultrasonic, or X-ray testing).
• Operate welding equipment safely and maintain tools in optimal condition.
• Collaborate with fabrication teams to complete projects on schedule.
• Follow strict safety protocols to minimize workplace hazards.

Required Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Diploma or Graduation in Welding Technology or a related field.
• Valid certification in 3G SMAW and/or FCAW welding.
• Additional certifications (e.g., ASME, AWS) are a plus.

Experience

• 1-3 years of hands-on welding experience, preferably in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.
• Proficency in vertical (3G) welding positions.
• Familiairty with welding codes such as API, ASME, and AWS.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of SMAW and FCAW welding processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina to work in demanding environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights).
• Basic understanding of welding metallurgy and material properties.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with on-site work in industrial settings. Candidates must be prepared for:

• Exposure to high temperatures, loud noises, and hazardous materials.
• Working in shifts, including weekends or overtime if required.
• Strict adherence to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines.
