Job Overview

We are looking for certified 6G/6G R SMAW/FCAW Welders with expertise in welding pipe joints in fixed positions. Successful candidates will work on critical projects in the Oil & Gas sector, ensuring precision, safety, and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality 6G/6G R SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on pipes and structural components.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Ensure all welds meet industry standards (ASME, API, AWS).
• Inspect and test welded surfaces for defects, using non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Operate welding equipment safely while adhering to workplace safety protocols.
• Collaborate with fabrication teams to align project requirements.
• Maintain welding tools and equipment in optimal working condition.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in 6G/6G R SMAW and FCAW welding techniques.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of welding safety standards (OSHA, ANSI).
• Strong attention to detail and precision.

Education & Certification:

• Diploma or Graduation in Welding Technology or related field.
• Certified in 6G/6G R SMAW/FCAW welding (AWS or equivalent).

Preferred Experience

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in 6G/6G R SMAW and FCAW welding.
• Prior work in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial Fabrication sectors.
• Familiarity with welding automation tools is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Job Type: Full-time, On-site (No remote work).
• Location: Al Olaya, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Shift: Standard working hours with potential overtime.
• Environment: Workshop and field-based with exposure to industrial settings.
