Key Responsibilities
As an A/C Technician at ASMACS, you will be responsible for:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in air conditioning units, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with safety standards.
- Installing, servicing, and calibrating HVAC equipment.
- Reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ensuring compliance with Qatar’s environmental and safety regulations.
- Coordinating with facility managers and clients to schedule maintenance tasks.
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Troubleshooting refrigerant leaks and performing refrigerant recovery.
- Providing exceptional customer service and technical guidance.
Requirements & Qualifications
Technical Skills & Experience:
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency in handling split units, VRV/VRF systems, and central AC units.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, refrigeration cycles, and air distribution systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools (manifold gauges, multimeters, leak detectors, etc.).
- Knowledge of facility management best practices.
Education & Certifications:
- Doctorate or equivalent technical certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or related fields.
- Certification from recognized HVAC training institutes (e.g., EPA, NATE, or equivalent).
- Valid Qatar driving license (preferred but not mandatory).
Soft Skills & Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
