AC Supervisor – Facility Management (Full-Time)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced AC Supervisor to oversee HVAC maintenance and operations for our facility management team in Muscat, Oman. This role involves supervising technicians, ensuring efficient AC system performance, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and building maintenance, along with leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of HVAC technicians and maintenance staff.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for AC units and related equipment.
• Monitor energy efficiency and recommend upgrades or improvements to reduce operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inventory, and equipment condition reports.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians to enhance team productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing commercial/residential AC systems.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
• Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and energy management tools.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Soft Skills

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication for coordinating with staff and stakeholders.
