As an AC Technician near me in Abu Dhabi, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of various air conditioning systems, providing essential HVAC maintenance services to our clients. This role is critical in maintaining the comfort and environmental standards of the facilities we manage. Key Responsibilities & Duties

As a core member of our maintenance department, the AC Technician will be entrusted with a wide range of critical tasks to ensure the seamless operation of all assigned air conditioning and climate control systems.

• Perform expert AC installation for new split, window, and central air conditioning systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety codes.
• Conduct routine and preventive AC servicing and maintenance on existing units to ensure peak efficiency and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex malfunctions and breakdowns in HVAC systems, implementing effective and timely repairs.
• Execute comprehensive AC repair work, including replacing compressors, motors, fans, capacitors, thermostats, and other components.
• Handle refrigerants responsibly, including charging and recovering gas in compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols.
• Perform electrical wiring checks and repairs associated with AC units, ensuring all connections are secure and meet electrical standards.
• Clean air filters, ducts, vents, and coils to maintain high air quality and system efficiency.
• Provide clients with clear advice on AC maintenance best practices and operation to prevent future issues.
• Maintain accurate service reports, documenting work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, industry regulations, and procedural guidelines at all times.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this technical role within the UAE's competitive facility management landscape, the ideal candidate must possess a combination of formal education, practical skills, and relevant experience.

Education & Certification

• An ITI certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or a directly related refrigeration and air conditioning trade is mandatory.
• Any additional certification in HVAC-R or specific manufacturer training is a significant advantage.

Experience & Technical Skills

• A minimum of 3-5 years of proven, hands-on professional experience as an AC Technician.
• Demonstrable expertise in the installation, servicing, and repair of a wide variety of AC systems (split, window, cassette, central).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using a full range of AC troubleshooting tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Solid understanding of electrical circuits and components as they relate to HVAC systems.
• Experience working in the facility management or maintenance services industry, preferably within the UAE.
