Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Access Control Technician to join our dynamic team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position within the Construction industry, requiring a minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in access control systems, security installations, and related technical fields. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on access control solutions for commercial and industrial projects.
This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting access control systems to ensure the highest level of security for our clients. The salary range for this position is 5-8 LPA, based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain access control systems, including card readers, biometric devices, and electronic locks.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to design and implement access control solutions.
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess system requirements and identify potential issues.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Document installation procedures, maintenance logs, and system updates.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in access control technology.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in installing and maintaining access control systems, CCTV, and related security technologies.
- Experience: 10+ years in the construction or engineering sector, specifically in access control.
- Education: Diploma or Graduation in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve system issues.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow technical schematics and installation manuals accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in access control or security systems are a plus.
Work Environment
This role is on-site and requires working in various construction environments, including commercial buildings, industrial sites, and residential complexes. The technician may need to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in outdoor conditions. Candidates should be prepared for physical demands such as lifting equipment and working extended hours when necessary.
