Job Overview
Master Overseas Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician to join our maintenance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time role within the poultry/hatchery industry, requiring expertise in HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal functionality in a demanding industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience and a strong background in system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems in poultry/hatchery facilities.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues in HVAC systems.
- Monitor and adjust system controls for optimal performance in temperature-sensitive environments.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure minimal downtime and operational disruptions.
- Maintain accurate service records and report on system performance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Assist in the procurement of HVAC parts and materials.
- Train junior technicians and provide technical guidance when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in HVAC and refrigeration systems, preferably in an industrial or agricultural setting.
- Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial cooling systems.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Knowledge of industry safety protocols and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Doctorate in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Technology) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in HVAC/R (e.g., EPA 608, NATE, or equivalent).
- Previous experience in the poultry or hatchery industry.
- Familiarity with automation and control systems in industrial refrigeration.
- Fluency in Arabic or other local languages is a plus.
Work Environment
This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Al Batha area) and requires on-site work in a poultry/hatchery facility. The role involves exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, and industrial equipment. Candidates must be comfortable working in such conditions and adhering to strict safety protocols.
