Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties

As our Aluminium Works Foreman, you will be the on-site leader, responsible for the seamless execution of various aluminium construction projects. Your day-to-day tasks will require a hands-on approach and excellent management skills.

Team Leadership & Supervision

• Directly supervise, mentor, and coordinate the activities of the aluminium installation crew, ensuring optimal productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
• Effectively allocate daily tasks and responsibilities to team members based on skillsets and project requirements.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote a zero-incident work environment.
• Monitor crew performance, provide constructive feedback, and assist in resolving any on-site personnel issues.

Project Management & Execution

• Interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and schematics to plan and execute aluminium works, including windows, doors, curtain walls, and structural glazing.
• Oversee the entire installation process, from material preparation and fabrication to final fitting and sealing.
• Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and building codes prevalent in the UAE.
• Manage project timelines diligently, reporting progress to senior project managers and addressing any delays proactively.

Quality Control & Assurance

• Perform rigorous quality checks at every stage of the fabrication and installation process.
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to aluminium systems, making necessary adjustments to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic finish.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked by the crew.

Inventory & Equipment Management

• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of aluminium profiles, glass, gaskets, hardware, and other necessary materials.
• Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of all tools and machinery on site, including cutting, drilling, and sealing equipment.
• Manage material inventory to minimize waste and control project costs effectively.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this Aluminium Works Foreman role, you must possess a combination of formal education, practical experience, and strong leadership qualities.

Essential Education & Experience

• Education: A minimum of Higher Secondary certificate is required. Additional diplomas or certifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field are a significant advantage.
• Experience: Proven experience of 3-5 years working as an Aluminium Fabricator, Installer, or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of aluminium fabrication techniques, installation methods, and various aluminium systems (e.g., curtain walls, sliding windows, doors).

Key Skills & Competencies

• Leadership: Demonstrated ability in crew leadership & work allocation. Must be able to motivate a team and maintain high morale.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills in English (Hindi/Arabic is a plus) to effectively liaise with management, clients, and your team.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome on-site challenges efficiently.
• Physical Fitness: The role requires physical stamina for lifting materials, working at heights, and spending long hours on active construction sites.
