Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Analyzer Technician to join our Maintenance team in the Oil & Gas industry. This is a Full-Time position based in Kuwait City, Al Asimah (Capital Governorate). The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in analyzer maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting within an industrial setting.

Job Description

As an Analyzer Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of analytical equipment used in the Oil & Gas sector. Your role includes maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of analyzers to maintain operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on analyzers (e.g., gas chromatographs, pH meters, moisture analyzers).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot analyzer malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct performance tests and generate reports on analyzer functionality.
  • Collaborate with engineers and operators to optimize analyzer performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and calibration logs.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new analyzer systems.
  • Monitor inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in maintaining and calibrating analytical instruments.
  • Strong analytical skills for diagnosing technical issues.
  • Knowledge of PLC and DCS systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).

Education & Experience

  • Graduation/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Analyzer Technician in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Hands-on experience with process analyzers and control systems.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position located in Jaber Al Ahmad, Kuwait City. The role may require:

  • Working in industrial plant settings with exposure to noise and machinery.
  • Occasional overtime or shift work to meet operational demands.
  • Adherence to strict safety protocols at all times.
