About the Role

Asiapower Overseas Employment Services is seeking highly skilled ARC Welders (2G/3G) to join our team in Muscat, Oman. This full-time position is within the Oil & Gas Construction industry, focusing on Quality Control to ensure adherence to industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of welding experience and a diploma or graduation in a relevant field. This role offers a competitive salary range of 2-4 LPA.

Job Responsibilities

As an ARC Welder (2G/3G), your primary duties will include:

• Performing ARC welding on structural components in compliance with project specifications.
• Inspecting and testing welds to ensure they meet Quality Control standards.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings.
• Operating welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with Oil & Gas industry regulations.
• Collaborating with engineers and supervisors to resolve welding-related issues.
• Conducting regular equipment maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in 2G/3G ARC welding techniques.
• Strong understanding of welding standards in the Oil & Gas Construction sector.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with welding inspection tools and quality checks.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE usage.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Graduation in Welding Technology or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in ARC welding within industrial construction.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus.
