Key Responsibilities & Duties
As our Area In-Charge (Aftermarket), you will undertake a diverse range of responsibilities critical to our sales success and market expansion:
Territory & Distribution Management
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the assigned territory to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Manage and expand the distributor network for automotive aftermarket products throughout Chennai and surrounding regions
- Conduct regular market visits to assess performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges in the distribution channel
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to recommend proactive strategies for business growth
- Ensure optimal inventory levels at distributor points to prevent stock-outs and minimize aging inventory
Sales Leadership & Performance
- Lead the sales team for aftermarket products, providing guidance, training, and performance management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers in the automotive aftermarket space
- Drive secondary sales through effective channel partner management and market development initiatives
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management
- Implement promotional activities and merchandising strategies to enhance brand visibility and product movement
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the automotive aftermarket sector
- Expand market coverage by appointing and nurturing new distributors and retailers

Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Graduation or Diploma in any discipline (Automobile/Mechanical Engineering preferred)
