Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Area Planner to join our Product Management team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time role is ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of planning experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing planning activities to ensure efficient operations and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

As an Area Planner, your primary duties will include:

• Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for assigned areas.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to align planning activities with business objectives.
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with industry-standard planning methodologies and best practices.
• Utilizing planning software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) to create and manage schedules.
• Supporting risk assessments and contingency planning to mitigate project delays.
• Collaborating with procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to optimize resource allocation.
• Providing regular updates to stakeholders on project timelines and milestones.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in planning and scheduling, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project data.

Skills:

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in the Oil & Gas industry.

Work Environment

This role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and requires on-site presence. The position does not offer remote work flexibility. The Oil & Gas industry demands a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and problem-solving skills.
