Area Planner (FG01701) – Oil & Gas Industry – Abu Dhabi, UAE

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Planner (FG01701) to join our Project Management team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and supporting project execution in the Oil & Gas sector. This role requires expertise in project scheduling, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard project scheduling tools.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for project schedules.
• Support the implementation of best practices in project planning and scheduling.

Required Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Certification in project scheduling (e.g., PMP, Primavera P6) is a plus.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle phases in Oil & Gas projects.
