Job Description: As Built Coordinators / Draftsmen

About the Role

We are seeking experienced As Built Coordinators / Draftsmen to join our Operations team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of as-built documentation for oil and gas projects, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and supporting project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare accurate as-built drawings for oil and gas projects.
• Verify field data and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and contractors to resolve discrepancies in project documentation.
• Update and maintain drawing registers, ensuring version control and traceability.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, progress updates, and handover documentation.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to company and industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, ISO).
• Support quality assurance and control processes for project deliverables.
• Liaise with stakeholders to clarify as-built requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) to produce and modify drawings.
• Archive project documentation systematically for future reference.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Diploma or Graduation in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in as-built coordination, drafting, or document control within the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation) and other drafting tools.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and project lifecycle documentation.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi City, UAE. The role may require occasional site visits to oil and gas facilities.
