About the Role

Vira International Placement Pvt. Ltd. is seeking passionate and skilled Asian Cooks to join our dynamic culinary team in the heart of Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with 0-1 year of experience in cooking to grow their careers in the thriving Food & Beverage industry.

As an Asian Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and authentic Asian dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Asian cuisine and a commitment to delivering high-quality food.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Asian dishes following established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently to minimize waste.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
• Follow portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in dish quality.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.

Job Requirements

• 0-1 year of experience in cooking, preferably in Asian cuisine.
• Basic knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary trends.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Educational Qualification: Doctorate (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting.
• Certification or training in culinary arts or Asian cuisine.
• Knowledge of multiple Asian cuisines (e.g., Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian).
