Job Description: Asphalt Paver (Saudi License)

About the Position

Avoir HR Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Asphalt Paver with a valid Saudi License to join our construction team in Riyadh, KSA. As an Asphalt Paver, you will play a crucial role in road construction projects, ensuring smooth and durable asphalt surfaces that meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities

Paving Operations

• Operate asphalt paving equipment following safety protocols and project specifications
• Assist in surface preparation and leveling before paving
• Monitor asphalt temperature and consistency during application
• Coordinate with crew members to ensure efficient material distribution
• Perform minor maintenance on paving equipment as needed

Quality Control & Safety

• Identify and report any paving defects or inconsistencies
• Follow all company safety policies and KSA construction regulations
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly at all times
• Participate in daily safety briefings and tool box talks

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with paving crew, foremen, and supervisors
• Assist other team members with related construction tasks when needed
• Communicate effectively about job progress and challenges
• Follow instructions from supervisors accurately

Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

• Valid Saudi License for operating paving equipment (must be able to provide documentation)
• High School Diploma or Higher Secondary education
• Basic understanding of surface paving techniques and materials
• Willingness to work in outdoor environments in various weather conditions
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor as required

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience (even minimal) with asphalt laying or related construction work
• Familiarity with different types of paving equipment and tools
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and material calculations
• Ability to read and interpret simple construction drawings
• Understanding of quality standards for road construction in KSA

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This position involves working primarily outdoors at construction sites in Riyadh and surrounding areas. Candidates should be prepared for:

• Exposure to heat, dust, and noise typical of construction sites
• Long periods of standing, bending, and occasional heavy lifting
• Working with hot asphalt materials and heavy machinery
• Following strict safety protocols at all times
• Potential overtime or weekend work to meet project deadlines
