Job Description
As an Assistant Electrician at Royal Star Manpower Solutions, you will play a critical role in supporting electrical operations across various projects in the Oil & Gas and Engineering & Construction sectors. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting senior electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while adhering to industry regulations and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems.
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switches for defects or hazards.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and provide timely solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and safety standards.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and team members to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Diploma or Graduation in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience as an Assistant Electrician in the Oil & Gas or Construction industry.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, tools, and safety protocols.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and components.
