Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Foreman Steel to join our dynamic construction team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel fabrication, maintenance coordination, and team supervision. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Foreman in overseeing steel fabrication and installation activities on construction sites.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and laborers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Supervise the work of junior staff and provide guidance on technical aspects.
• Inspect materials, tools, and equipment to ensure they meet project specifications.
• Assist in scheduling work tasks and managing timelines to meet deadlines.
• Report progress, issues, and delays to the Foreman and project managers.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours.
• Participate in quality control checks to ensure high standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges as they arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

• Diploma or Graduation in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in steel fabrication, construction, or maintenance roles.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant foreman role is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication techniques and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with welding, cutting, and assembly processes.
• Ability to operate and oversee the use of construction tools and machinery.

Soft Skills:

Work Environment
