Job Summary

The Assistant HVAC Technician will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems under the supervision of senior technicians. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the HVAC field and a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and heating equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and diagnostics to identify system issues or inefficiencies.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of service reports, inspections, and repairs.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery in proper working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices in HVAC technology.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, refrigeration cycles, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Familiarity with HVAC diagnostic tools and software.

Educational Background

• Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant HVAC certifications (e.g., EPA, NATE) are a plus.

Work Environment

The Assistant HVAC Technician will primarily work on-site at client locations across Abu Dhabi. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Safety gear and company-provided tools will be supplied for all projects.
