Job Responsibilities

As an Assistant Instrument Fitter, your primary duties will include:

• Assisting in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of industrial instruments and control systems.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Troubleshooting instrument failures and performing corrective actions.
• Collaborating with engineers and technicians to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections, repairs, and installations.
• Supporting the testing and commissioning of new instrumentation systems.
• Applying basic Machine Learning concepts for predictive maintenance (preferred).

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• 1-3 years of experience as an Instrument Fitter or similar role in Oil & Gas or Construction.
• Diploma or Graduation in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with industrial instruments like pressure gauges, transmitters, and control valves.
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning applications in predictive maintenance (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the UAE or GCC region.
• Certifications in instrumentation or safety (e.g., OSHA).
• Exposure to AI or Machine Learning tools.

Work Environment

This role involves working in an industrial setting, including:

• On-site work at Oil & Gas facilities in Abu Dhabi.
