About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Technician (Plating) to join our Production Department at M. Gheewala Global HR Consultants. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in metal forming and surface treatment processes. The successful candidate will assist in plating operations, ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, inspection, and execution of plating processes for metal components.
• Operate and maintain plating equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance.
• Monitor and adjust chemical solutions used in plating to maintain quality standards.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Work closely with senior technicians and engineers to troubleshoot process issues.
• Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Document processes, maintain logs, and report any deviations or malfunctions.
• Assist in inventory management of plating materials and consumables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience in metal plating, surface treatment, or related manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with plating techniques (electroplating, anodizing, etc.).
• Strong understanding of metal forming and finishing processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow SOPs.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols in chemical handling.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Education & Certifications:

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
• Certification in Plating/Surface Treatment is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Al-Naseem, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The work involves exposure to chemicals, requiring adherence to safety guidelines. Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
