Primary Responsibilities and Duties

As an Assistant AC Technician, you will provide essential support to our senior HVAC engineers and technicians. Your day-to-day tasks will be vital to our operations, ensuring client satisfaction through reliable and efficient service. Your core responsibilities will include:

Technical Support & Maintenance

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various air conditioning systems, including split ACs, window units, central cooling systems, and HVAC equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on AC units to ensure they operate at peak efficiency.
• Support senior technicians in diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems promptly and accurately.
• Help in cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services on designated equipment.
• Assist with the troubleshooting of thermostats, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and other critical AC components.

Operational & Logistical Support

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols and UAE regulations.
• Manage and handle refrigerants in accordance with environmental and safety standards.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job using provided work orders.
• Assist in managing inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts in the service vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service, clearly explaining technical issues and completed work to clients.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with the facilities management team to respond to emergency breakdowns and service requests.
• Learn from and support lead technicians, demonstrating a willingness to develop new skills and gain advanced HVAC knowledge.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and best practices in AC maintenance and repair.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To be considered for this Assistant AC Technician role near Ghantoot, you must meet the following criteria:

Essential Education & Experience

• A valid ITI certificate in refrigeration and air conditioning or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Proven experience of 3-5 years as an AC Technician, HVAC Assistant, or in a similar support role within the facility management industry.
