Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties
As an Assistant Plumber at ASMACS, you will work under the guidance of senior plumbers and project managers to ensure the successful completion of various plumbing tasks on our construction sites. Your role is vital to the efficiency and functionality of our projects.
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related fixtures and appliances.
- Support senior plumbers in assembling pipe sections, tubing, and fittings, using various tools and techniques.
- Perform trenching and excavating for the installation of new plumbing systems on construction sites.
- Help in inspecting plumbing systems to identify and diagnose issues, leaks, or blockages.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles, using hand and power tools or machines.
- Adhere strictly to all local building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in the plumbing trade.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Transport and manage materials and tools to and from the worksite as required.
- Collaborate effectively with other construction team members, including electricians and carpenters.
- Learn and apply new techniques and technologies in the plumbing field under the mentorship of experienced professionals.
Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Education & Certification
- An ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Plumbing or a closely related trade is mandatory.
