Auto AC Technician Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Auto AC Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time position within the Manufacturing industry, specifically under Facilities Management. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in maintenance and a strong technical background in automotive air conditioning systems.

As an Auto AC Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicle AC systems to ensure optimal performance. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our fleet and customer vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive air conditioning system issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on AC systems, including refrigerant recharge, leak detection, and component replacement.
• Inspect and test AC systems to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify malfunctions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance requirements clearly.
• Adhere to workplace safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Skills

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automotive AC systems.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and HVAC principles.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in vehicles.

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience as an Auto AC Technician or similar role.
• Certification in AC repair or HVAC systems is a plus.

Work Environment

This role is based in Abu Dhabi City and requires on-site presence. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, handling a variety of vehicles and AC systems. Safety gear and proper training will be provided to ensure compliance with industry standards.
