Key Responsibilities

As an Auto Denter, you will be responsible for:

• Inspecting vehicle bodies to assess damage and determine repair requirements
• Performing high-quality dent removal using specialized tools and techniques
• Repairing scratches, dents, and other body damages to restore vehicles to original condition
• Working with various materials including steel, aluminum, and fiberglass
• Collaborating with other team members in the Machine Maintenance – Automation department
• Maintaining and caring for all tools and equipment used in dent repair
• Following all safety protocols and workplace regulations
• Ensuring all repairs meet company quality standards and customer expectations
• Documenting work performed and materials used
• Staying updated on new dent repair technologies and techniques

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• ITI certification in relevant field (Automobile, Mechanical, or similar)
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in automotive body denting
• Proficiency in various dent removal techniques including PDR (Paintless Dent Repair)
• Strong knowledge of automotive body materials and repair methods
• Ability to work with various tools including body hammers, dollies, and pulling systems
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finished products
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job (standing for long periods, lifting, etc.)
• Basic understanding of automotive painting processes
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex dent repairs

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following would be considered an asset:

• Certification in Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)
• Experience working with luxury or high-end vehicles
• Basic welding skills for more complex repairs
• Knowledge of automotive refinishing processes
• Experience with computerized measuring systems for precision work
