J.M. Mehta & Co., a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Technician to join our Operations team in Diriyah, Riyadh. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for entry-level candidates with 0-1 year of experience. Job Responsibilities

As an Auto Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles and heavy machinery used in our construction operations. Key duties include:

• Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance work.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
• Operate specialized tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist in the procurement of spare parts and inventory management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:

• Technical aptitude with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies in the automotive field.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• A Doctorate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) is preferred but not mandatory for highly skilled candidates.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will enhance your application:

• Certification from a recognized automotive training program (e.g., ASE, NATEF).
• Prior experience in the construction industry or with heavy machinery.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and computerized systems.

Work Environment

This role is not remote and requires on-site presence at our facility in Diriyah, Riyadh. The work environment includes:

• Exposure to loud noises, fumes, and varying weather conditions.
• Physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Standard 40-hour workweek with occasional overtime based on project demands.
