BA Technician (Boiler & Auxiliary Equipment Technician)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled BA Technician (Boiler & Auxiliary Equipment Technician) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of boilers and related auxiliary equipment in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in handling, inspecting, and maintaining boiler systems.

As a BA Technician, you will work closely with the Mechanical Engineering team to perform routine checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. This is an on-site position requiring technical expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair boiler systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor boiler operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and efficiency standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform routine testing of boiler water quality and adjust chemical treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize boiler performance.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and workplace safety regulations.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new boiler systems.
• Provide technical support during emergencies or unexpected breakdowns.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in handling and maintaining boiler and auxiliary equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping, and pressure vessels.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting operational issues.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a BA Technician or similar role.
• Certification in boiler operation or maintenance is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Malaz, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires working in an industrial setting, often in high-temperature environments near heavy machinery. Candidates must be comfortable with shift work, including nights and weekends, if required.
