Baggage Handler (Qatar DL) – Full-Time Position

Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and physically fit Baggage Handler to join our Logistics & Supply Chain team in Doha, Qatar. This full-time role is critical to ensuring smooth airport operations by efficiently managing luggage handling, conveyor loading, and transportation. Key Responsibilities

As a Baggage Handler, you will perform the following duties:

• Luggage Handling: Safely load and unload passenger baggage from aircraft, trucks, and conveyor belts.
• Conveyor Operations: Operate and monitor baggage conveyor systems to ensure seamless transfer.
• Physical Lifting: Lift, carry, and stack luggage (up to 50 lbs) in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Driving Equipment: Operate baggage carts, tugs, and other ground support vehicles as required.
• Quality Checks: Inspect luggage for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Safety Compliance: Follow strict airport security protocols and workplace safety regulations.
• Team Coordination: Work collaboratively with ground staff, pilots, and other operational teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift heavy baggage (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
• Basic understanding of conveyor systems and baggage handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred for operating airport vehicles).
• Physical stamina and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Attention to detail for accurate luggage sorting and tracking.

Education & Experience

• Education: Higher Secondary (12th grade) or equivalent.
• Experience: 0-1 years in baggage handling, logistics, or related fields (training provided).
• Prior experience in airport operations is a plus.
