Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista/Coffee Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of specialty coffee brewing techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks, following precise recipes.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes for all coffee products.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment to the highest standards.
• Engage with guests, provide recommendations, and ensure a memorable coffee experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and place orders as needed.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new brewing techniques, trends, and product offerings.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in specialty coffee brewing methods (e.g., pour-over, French press, AeroPress).
• Knowledge of coffee bean varieties, roasting profiles, and flavor profiles.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality beverages.

Education & Experience:

• Education Level: Doctorate (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience: 0-1 year in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Barista certification or training from a recognized institution is a plus.
