Job Description: Batch Mixer Operator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Batch Mixer Operator to join our Operations department in the Oil & Gas industry. This full-time position is based in Wadi Kabir, Muscat, Oman, and requires a candidate with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in rigsite coordination and batch mixing operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining batch mixing equipment to ensure efficient and safe production processes. This role is critical to maintaining operational efficiency and adhering to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Batch Mixing Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate batch mixing machinery to prepare materials according to specifications.
• Quality Control: Monitor and adjust mixing processes to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and carry out minor repairs as needed.
• Rigsite Coordination: Collaborate with rig teams to ensure smooth operations and timely material delivery.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE usage and hazard identification, to maintain a safe working environment.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of batch mixing operations, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and peers to optimize workflows and meet production targets.

Required Qualifications

• Education: ITI certification or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in batch mixing operations, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and maintaining batch mixing equipment.
• Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations.
• Communication: Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with rigsite personnel.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of working in a physically demanding environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated mixing systems.
• Knowledge of oilfield chemicals and additives.
• Familiarity with industry software for batch tracking and reporting.
