Job Description: Batching Plant Operator

About the Role

We are seeking skilled Batching Plant Operators to join our dynamic construction team in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating batching plants, ensuring high-quality concrete production, and adhering to safety protocols. This role is crucial in maintaining efficient plant operations to support construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor batching plant equipment to produce high-quality concrete mixtures.
• Ensure accurate measurements of raw materials (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures).
• Perform regular maintenance checks on plant machinery to prevent breakdowns.
• Follow safety guidelines and company protocols to minimize workplace hazards.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and construction teams to meet project deadlines.
• Keep detailed records of production data, material usage, and maintenance logs.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report issues to the maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and quality control standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in operating batching plant machinery.
• Strong understanding of construction materials and concrete mixing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and production schedules.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in material measurements.

Education & Experience:

• ITI Certification in a relevant field (e.g., Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic).
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Batching Plant Operator in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in plant operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Al Khuwair, Muscat, Oman. The role involves working in a high-energy construction environment with exposure to outdoor conditions. Candidates must be comfortable working in shifts, including weekends if required.
