BMS Engineer Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BMS Engineer (Building Management Systems Engineer) to join our dynamic engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site role in the manufacturing sector, ideal for candidates with 3-5 years of experience in HVAC controls and BMS systems.

As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining building automation systems to ensure optimal performance of HVAC, lighting, and other critical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and hands-on experience with BMS protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.

Key Responsibilities

The BMS Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Design, program, and commission Building Management Systems (BMS) for industrial and commercial facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC controls, lighting systems, and energy management.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance analyses to optimize efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and mechanical engineers, to integrate BMS with other systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, system configurations, and user manuals.
• Provide training and technical support to clients and internal staff on BMS operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and energy efficiency guidelines.
• Monitor system performance remotely and perform on-site maintenance when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in BMS/HVAC controls within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Proficiency in BMS software platforms such as Siemens Desigo, Schneider EcoStruxure, or Honeywell EBI.
• Familiarity with communication protocols like BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with energy management and sustainability practices.
