Job Overview

Gulf Overseas, a leading name in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Boom Truck Driver to join our Transportation Department in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of professional driving experience and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a boom truck to transport materials, equipment, and goods safely and efficiently.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure proper maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
• Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper securing of materials.
• Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate deliveries.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, fuel consumption, and delivery records.
• Adhere to schedules and deadlines to ensure timely deliveries.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on the vehicle as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Higher Secondary education or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Boom Truck Driver or similar role.
• Valid UAE driver’s license appropriate for boom truck operation.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance protocols.
• Ability to read maps, GPS systems, and follow delivery schedules.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the manufacturing or logistics industry.
• Certification in heavy vehicle operation or related training.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi and surrounding areas for efficient route planning.

Work Environment

This position is full-time and requires working in various conditions, including outdoor settings, warehouses, and construction sites. The role involves physical labor, exposure to varying weather conditions, and occasional overtime.
