Boom Truck Operator Job – Madinat Khalifa North, Doha

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Boom Truck Operator to join our construction operations team in Madinat Khalifa North, Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in operating boom trucks, load management, and adhering to safety protocols in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boom trucks efficiently and safely for construction projects.
• Ensure proper load management, including lifting, transporting, and placing heavy materials.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to check for mechanical or safety issues.
• Follow safety guidelines and OSHA (or equivalent) regulations at all times.
• Coordinate with ground crew and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain logs of work performed, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major malfunctions.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in operating and handling boom trucks (3-5 years of experience).
• Strong understanding of load management and weight distribution principles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in the construction industry.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor truck maintenance.

Education & Certifications:

• ITI Certification or equivalent in relevant trade.
• Valid boom truck operator license/certification (if applicable).
• OSHA or similar safety training certification is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Good communication skills for team coordination.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role involves working in construction sites with exposure to varying weather conditions. Candidates should be prepared for the following:

• Standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects for extended periods.
• Ability to work in high-noise environments while wearing protective gear.
• Comfortable working at heights when required.
• Strong physical stamina and endurance.
