Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Building Electricians to join our Maintenance Department. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installations, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in buildings.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize electrical failures.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and facility managers to ensure seamless operations.
• Follow local and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Education & Certification:

• Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications in electrical work or apprenticeship programs.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience working in Facility Management or Maintenance Services.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
