Key Responsibilities
As a Busboy, you will play a critical role in maintaining the restaurant's efficiency and cleanliness. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Table Setup & Clearing: Prepare tables for guests by setting up cutlery, glassware, and napkins. Clear tables promptly after guests leave.
- Dishware Handling: Assist in collecting, sorting, and transporting used dishes to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Sanitation & Hygiene: Maintain high standards of cleanliness in dining areas, including wiping tables and chairs.
- Support Staff: Assist waitstaff and kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Stock Replenishment: Ensure condiments, napkins, and other dining essentials are well-stocked.
- Customer Assistance: Provide courteous and prompt assistance to guests when required.
Requirements & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Busboy or in a similar role in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in table setup, clearing, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long hours and lift moderate weights (e.g., trays of dishes).
- Team Player: Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for cleanliness and presentation.
- Education: Higher Secondary school certificate or equivalent.
- Language: Basic proficiency in English or Arabic is preferred.
