Butcher Job in Downtown Dubai – Full Time (0-1 Year Experience)

As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and trimming various meats to meet customer and business needs. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring hygiene, safety, and quality standards are maintained.

Job Responsibilities

• Meat Preparation: Cut, trim, and debone meats such as beef, poultry, lamb, and fish using knives, cleavers, and other tools.
• Quality Control: Inspect meat products to ensure freshness, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
• Customer Service: Assist customers by answering questions, recommending cuts, and fulfilling special requests.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work area, following food safety regulations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sharpen knives and other tools regularly to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Inventory Management: Assist in stock rotation and monitoring inventory levels to minimize waste.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations in the butchery department.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Meat Cutting Skills: Basic knowledge of meat cutting techniques for various meats (beef, poultry, lamb, fish).
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy meat products (up to 25 kg).
• Attention to Detail: Precision in cutting and portioning meats to specifications.
• Hygiene Awareness: Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Customer-Focused: Friendly attitude and willingness to assist customers.
• Education: Doctorate degree (or equivalent qualification in a related field is preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience: 0-1 year of experience in meat cutting or butchery work (training may be provided for motivated candidates).
