About the Role

HR GLOBAL REACH is seeking experienced Cable Jointers to join our Operations team in Kuwait City. This full-time role is ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of cabling experience in the Oil & Gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical cable systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and joint high-voltage and low-voltage cables in compliance with industry standards.
• Perform cable testing, fault location, and repair to minimize downtime.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to plan cable routing and installation.
• Ensure all cabling work adheres to safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections.
• Operate specialized tools and equipment for cabling projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in cabling techniques for Oil & Gas environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, cable types, and jointing methods.
• Ability to work under pressure in challenging field conditions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Education & Experience:

• Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Cable Jointer, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Certification in cable jointing or electrical safety (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) is a plus.
