Responsibilities

As a Cardiac Surgeon, you will:

• Perform complex cardiac surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair/replacement, and congenital heart defect corrections.
• Diagnose and evaluate patients to determine surgical needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor post-operative recovery and manage complications with evidence-based interventions.
• Stay updated with advancements in cardiac surgery techniques and technologies.
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, risks, and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with hospital policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Doctorate in Medicine (MD) with specialization in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Valid medical license and board certification in Cardiac Surgery.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in open-heart surgery, bypass surgery, and valve repair.
• Proficiency in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques is a plus.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced medical environment.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with the following additional experience will be given preference:

• Experience in academic or research-oriented cardiac surgery departments.
• Published work in peer-reviewed medical journals related to cardiac surgery.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia's healthcare regulations and medical standards.

Work Environment

This position is based in Dhahran, Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a modern, well-equipped hospital known for its advanced cardiac care unit. The role requires:

• Full-time, on-site commitment (no remote work).
