About the Role

Vira International Placement Pvt. Ltd. is seeking skilled and passionate Catering Cooks to join our dynamic team in Downtown Dubai, UAE. This full-time position is ideal for culinary professionals with 0-1 year of experience in multi-cuisine cooking. The selected candidates will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes for catering events while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts, ensuring high-quality presentation.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines for consistency.
• Ensure all food items are stored, handled, and cooked in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the catering team to plan menus based on client preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering as needed.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down catering events.
• Adapt to different cooking styles and cuisines as required by event specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Skills:

• Proficiency in multi-cuisine cooking (e.g., Indian, Middle Eastern, Continental).
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced catering environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Education:

A Doctorate in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred, though candidates with equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.

Experience:

0-1 year of professional cooking experience, preferably in catering or hospitality.
