About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chargehand – Electrical to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time position is within the Oil & Gas sector, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing electrical operations and ensuring the smooth execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in electrical maintenance and a strong understanding of machine learning applications in engineering.

Key Responsibilities

As a Chargehand – Electrical, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance and installation activities on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Oversee the work of junior technicians and provide guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to execute electrical projects efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
• Apply machine learning techniques to optimize electrical system performance.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Education: Graduation or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction sectors.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Machine Learning: Basic knowledge of machine learning applications in electrical engineering is highly desirable.
• Leadership: Strong supervisory and team management skills.
• Safety Awareness: Familiarity with workplace safety protocols and industry standards.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
