Chiller Technicians – Full-Time Job Opening in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Chiller Technicians to join our Facilities Management team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time position in the manufacturing industry, requiring 3-5 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or graduation in a relevant technical field and strong expertise in chiller maintenance, repair, and installation.

Salary Range: 5-8 LPA

Job Responsibilities

As a Chiller Technician, your primary duties will include:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial and industrial chillers.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting chiller system malfunctions, including electrical and mechanical issues.
• Repairing and replacing faulty components such as compressors, motors, valves, and control systems.
• Conducting performance tests and inspections to ensure optimal chiller efficiency.
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards during maintenance and repair work.
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinating with the Facilities Management team to schedule maintenance tasks.
• Providing technical guidance and training to junior technicians when required.
• Ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Education & Certification

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related technical field.
• Certification in chiller system maintenance or HVAC-R (preferred).

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in chiller maintenance and repair.
• Proven track record in handling industrial and commercial chiller systems.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of chiller components, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Experience with refrigerant handling and recovery procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC control systems and automation.
