Job Description: Chiller Technicians

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chiller Technician to join our Maintenance Department in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in chiller troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance within the construction industry. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of 5-8 LPA.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of chiller systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot chiller issues, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related problems.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to integrate chiller systems into building projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Provide technical support and training to junior technicians when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Graduation/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Chiller Technician in the construction industry.
• Certification in HVAC or refrigeration systems is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in chiller troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with centrifugal, screw, and absorption chillers.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Work Environment & Benefits
