Civil Engineer - Overhead Lines

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer - Overhead Lines to join our dynamic Engineering team in Kuwait. This role is pivotal in designing, constructing, and maintaining overhead transmission lines within the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of proven experience in construction and civil engineering, with a strong focus on infrastructure development.

This is an on-site position based in Jibla, Kuwait City, offering a competitive salary range of 21-28 LPA.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and oversee the construction of overhead transmission lines for Oil & Gas infrastructure.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, project managers, and contractors.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the construction and maintenance phases.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in construction methodologies and civil engineering principles.
• Strong knowledge of overhead transmission line design and installation.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) and engineering analysis tools.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, IEC, IEEE).

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in overhead lines construction within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects.

Job Location & Work Environment
