Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled Civil Site Engineers to join our client's dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in civil engineering, construction management, and site supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage civil construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to on-site challenges.
• Ensure all construction activities align with industry regulations and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to optimize resource allocation and workflow efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and site staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Professional certification or licensure (e.g., PMP, PE) is a plus.

Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in civil construction, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other engineering software.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, AISC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires working in challenging outdoor conditions, including exposure to extreme weather. Candidates must be willing to relocate and adapt to the local work culture.
