Key Responsibilities
As a Civil/Structural Supervisor, your primary duties will include:
- Supervising and coordinating civil and structural construction activities on-site.
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and safety regulations.
- Managing subcontractors, laborers, and materials to meet project deadlines.
- Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Preparing daily progress reports and liaising with project managers.
- Resolving technical issues and providing solutions to on-site challenges.
- Ensuring adherence to environmental and sustainability guidelines.
- Training and mentoring junior staff to improve team performance.
Qualifications & Skills
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education & Certification
- Graduation/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in construction supervision or project management is a plus.
Experience
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in civil/structural construction.
- Proven track record in transportation or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
- Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and OSHA safety standards.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design tools is advantageous.
Soft Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
