Key Responsibilities & Duties

As a Civil & Structure Engineer at Crescent Careers, you will be entrusted with a wide range of critical tasks essential to the planning, design, and execution of our projects. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and timely completion of all assigned works.

• Perform detailed structural analysis and design for a variety of project elements, including foundations, steel structures, concrete buildings, and pipe supports, ensuring compliance with international codes and company standards.
• Prepare, review, and approve technical drawings, specifications, and calculation packages using software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and SAP2000.
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to the construction team on-site, resolving any structural or civil engineering issues that arise during the execution phase.
• Manage and oversee all civil and structural construction activities, ensuring they adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Conduct rigorous site inspections and surveys to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and verify that all work is performed according to the approved design documents.
• Liaise and coordinate effectively with project managers, clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration and execution.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, method statements, and material submittals for client approval.
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant local and international regulations, as well as company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
• Participate in project meetings, providing critical input and updates on civil and structural engineering matters.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered for this prestigious Civil Engineer position near Riyadh, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (B.E. Civil) from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is a significant advantage.

Experience & Skills

• A minimum of 5-10 yearscivil and structural engineering, with a strong focus on the Oil & Gas industry.
• Extensive hands-on experience in construction management, site supervision, and project execution for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, including STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, and AutoCAD.
• In-depth knowledge of international design codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, API, ASCE, Eurocode).
• Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and their application to foundation design.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
