Civil Supervisor (Construction Industry)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee construction projects in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will ensure that civil engineering works are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating with contractors, managing site operations, and ensuring adherence to project timelines. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring strong leadership and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor civil construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of civil works.
• Manage daily progress reports, material inspections, and workforce allocation.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to construction standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, BS).
• Resolve on-site technical issues and report any delays or deviations from the project plan.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce occupational health and safety (OHS) protocols.
• Train and mentor junior staff and laborers to enhance productivity.
• Verify measurements, quantities, and material specifications as per project requirements.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction supervision, preferably in large-scale projects.
• Proven track record in managing teams and subcontractors.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, and other construction management software is a plus.
