Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee construction activities in the Oil & Gas sector in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in civil supervision, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of construction protocols in high-risk environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities at project sites, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitor daily work progress, report deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with engineers, contractors, and project managers to align construction activities with design specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to engineering drawings, materials, and workmanship.
- Manage and mentor junior staff, subcontractors, and laborers to maintain productivity and safety.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Track project milestones and report progress to senior management.
- Resolve on-site technical issues and conflicts promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, inspection reports, and compliance records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in civil supervision within the Oil & Gas Construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with civil engineering drawings, blueprints, and site layouts.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments and construction software.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Education & Certifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus.
