Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Condition Monitoring Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of critical machinery through advanced condition monitoring techniques. This role requires expertise in API standards, vibration analysis, and predictive maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement condition monitoring programs for rotating and static equipment.
- Conduct vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and other predictive maintenance techniques.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to detect early signs of failure.
- Ensure compliance with API standards and other industry regulations.
- Generate detailed reports and recommendations for maintenance actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize machinery reliability.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Train junior engineers and technicians in condition monitoring best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in condition monitoring technologies.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in condition monitoring within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in vibration analysis software (e.g., CSI, Bentley Nevada).
- Strong knowledge of API standards (API 670, API 686, etc.).
- Experience with predictive maintenance tools and techniques.
Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
